Manuscript help, book reviews and author interviews

Tell Her Everything by Mirza Waheed; reviewed by TGBC guest reviewer

I was excited about Mirza Waheed’s ‘Tell her everything’. After all he wrote Book of Gold Leaves and The Collaborator – both of which were insanely brilliant.
But Waheed’s latest book disappoints in a big big way. It is a long rambling monologue that throws up hardly any surprises and is quiet frankly a yawn.
What I want to know is this- who was his editor? His first reader? Waheed should fire them for not telling him the truth!
