So many of these are classics that you cannot but love them. Though I didn’t like White Tiger so much. Do agree with you about most of the rest. I am actually waiting to read the Flood of Fire by Amitav Ghosh. Will like to see how fiery it is after the stormy Sea of Poppies, the indolent River of Smoke.
